Ms. Melody

Ms. Melody has studied the art of dance for the past 25 years. Ms. Melody has studied Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Tap, Acrobatics, Hip Hop, Modern and the Katherine Dunham technique. Ms. Melody is a graduate of Cab Calloway School of the Arts, where she studied as a dance major. Her biggest accomplishment within the arts was touring nationally and internationally as a professional backup dancer for a Grammy Award Winning Artist. Ms. Melody also holds a degree in special education where she is able to incorporate her knowledge of differentiated instruction within the dance studio. Ms. Melody has a profound love for all of the dancers of Melodic Movements!

Mr. Kendall

Melodic Movements is happy to welcome back Mr. Kendall for our 6th dance season. Mr. Kendall celebrates his second dance season with MM. Mr. Kendall’s passion is to inspire as many people as possible through the art of dance. He has trained and worked with the best choreographers in the world such as JaQuel Knight, Parris Goebel, Diana Matos and many more. His proudest moment was performing at the Something In the Water festival with Pharrell. Mr. Kendall is known for creating a fun dance studio environment for all of his students and for pushing his dancers to push beyond their limits!

Ms. Maddy

Melodic Movements is happy to welcome Ms. Maddy this year for her first season at our studio. Ms. Maddy has trained predominantly with the school of Pennsylvania Ballet in Philadelphia and performed with various companies. Her proudest dance moments are performing at the Kennedy Center and training in Moscow! Ms. Maddy will be teaching pre pointe and conditioning this dance season and looks forward to enhancing our dancers technique and abilities!

Ms. A

Adrianna or Ms. A is a 24 year old Delaware native who started her dance and performance career at the age of 3. Specializing in musical theatre, jazz, and lyrical, she has trained in multiple studios and with performing arts groups. Adrianna received her technique training from Dance Delaware and The Dance Factory. She has studied under Broadway professionals Valerie Smith and Sonny Leo where she developed her love for Theatre. 

Her performance career includes performing in shows at the Wilmington Drama League, dancing with Delaware State University’s band dance team, and became a choreographer of a high school performance group and coach to a competitive dance team in Wyoming-Camden, DE.

Ms. A’s philosophy is “Every BODY can dance”. She understands how important it is to feel accepted and supported in the dance community. Whether you are just starting out or continuing training; no matter the age, size, or gender- dance is the outlet that has no boundaries.

Ms. Mackenzie

Melodic Movements is proud to welcome back Ms. Mackenzie for her second season with the studio. Ms. Mackenzie has a Bachelor of Music degree in Musical Theatre and works frequently in the field as a professional performer and choreographer. She teaches at many studios throughout the Philadelphia Region and excels at creating high scoring competition routines and clean choreography that features each students best talents. 
Ms. Mackenzie serves as our Tap and Musical Theatre teacher! She loves teaching tap technique to beginners through advanced dancers and serves as a professor at University of the Arts teaching Tap Dance. She can’t wait to meet you on the dance floor! 

Ms. Liz

Elizabeth (Liz) Palmore was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She began her dance and gymnastics journey as an all-star cheerleader from 5 to 10 years old. She started dancing exclusively in middle school when she attended Arts IMPACT Middle School (AIMS) and eventually Fort Hayes Metropolitan High School. She studied Ballet, Jazz, Hip-Hop, African, Modern, Liturgical, Tap and Pointé. She participated in the East High School Mighty Marching Band as captain of the Drill Team her Junior and Senior year. She danced with the Alabama State Stingettes and became a core member of the Cdance company for the Arts. When Liz is not dancing, she’s exploring the city of Philadelphia, where she recently moved to, and studying/writing papers for her Human Resource Management master’s program. Liz is excited to join the Melodic Movements Performing Arts Program and cannot wait to see what this year will bring.

Ms. Ang

Melodic Movements is excited to welcome Ms. Angie back to the studio for her second season! Ms. Ang has danced competitively and performed in and out of school her whole life — but her heart is in teaching! Her proudest dance moment was getting to choreograph, cast and participate in a Puma x Snipes commercial last February!

Ms. Ang will serve as one of our Ballet and Jazz instructors this season. Meet her at the barre!
